POOLSIDE SERIES
A happy Saturday in late July, the pool is turquoise, the sun is high, and nobody is going anywhere.
The Poolside Series is backgammon for the water’s edge, water-repellent and built to shrug off splashes, wet hands and the odd dropped ice cube, while the magnets do the rest, holding every piece in place on a sunbed, on the lip of the pool, wherever the board is set down.
Played in the noon glare, through the sunset, after dinner, the set stays out as long as the game does.
